I started the Guaifenesin Protocol in 2002 at age 65. I felt I had no choice. My family lives to almost age 90. I didn't want to look forward to decades of pain.... probably in a wheelchair with a Swiss cheese for a brain.
The result was dramatic. For the first time, I could progress with exercise and need fewer hours of sleep. I have been on the protocol for 11 and a half years. Reversal to the level of grade school days, when writing made my fingers ache.
I remember people's names, keep a budget, and have a new head of very curly hair. My nails are claws and I do Downward Dog for longer and longer periods every day.
During the ten years of fog, I kept dumbbells by my rocking chair and used my own stationary bike. This is So CRUCIAL. My balance depends on physical strength.
I also enjoyed catalogs. I just found four new dresses in my closet, forgotten. I also had ordered matching shoes. Actually, I ordered 46 pairs of shoes. My feet were so painful that I was a shoe slut, trying to find the perfect pair. Over ten years.
It is the guai which is taking care of foot pain. Almost gone with residual pins and needles.
The ten years was like labor. You forget, in New HAPPINESS. I am now giving up naps.
I think my persistence wd be good for newbies to hear. I am 77 and making plans. Am very close to following thru on just getting out of the house.
