I have been doing great considering how I was in 2015. When we first moved to the island of Hawaii in 2016, we began renovating my sister in-laws house on the inside. In 2017 my husband and I built a hale for my sister in-law to sell crafts. No easy task as my husband does construction the right way, always, to code. I think everything he builds will last for all time. Lol.
In 2018 we built a wheel chair ramp for my sister in-law here at her house. Measures 8 feet for the deck and another 40 feet to her parking area. Again all to code so no easy or simple job. While I do not do construction like I did in the past, which was quite extensive, I can now still hammer, drill, saw with a skill saw and much more. I could not do this even in 2016. I will say I feel more like myself for the first time in many years.
This last fall I started a website: Hauoli Stitches, hauolistitcheshawaii.com, we will see how that works out during this year. Of course there are times when I slip up and have a bad day or two but have learned how to deal with it. I am grateful to you and the program.
I think because of the guaifenesin protocol and my doctor I have conquered my deep depression. I should, also, mention that with my back surgery 8 years ago I had great painful inflammation in my lower back. In 2016, 2017 and much of 2018 I could tell I was getting better. I could not get into bed and lay down the normal way so it was a chore and a lot of pain. I am able to say I can now lay down the right way, turn over with no problem.
