Dr. St. Amand,
This photo is the culmination of many months of planning and one very long week! This is the photo of one very happy ‘Mother of the Bride’! The thumbs up is significant of many things, including being on your protocol for Fibromyalgia and finding a way to go back to living my life without pain and having the stamina to work as a full time Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse! Thank you for perseverance over the years and continuing to believe in your research and dreams to help your patients to be the best we can be!
This is my husband John, who also has Fibromyalgia! We had the fortunate fate to be moved to Hawaii for his job back in 2014. While there I met Annette Kam while working in the same hospital and while talking one day learned about IFOG and the protocol. I signed us up for the Hawaii IFOG summit and learned in that day there was hope for both of us. We started our journey on your protocol in July of 2015. This photo shows the significance of him being able to enjoy being a grandpa to a 2-year-old, and a dad to a 12-year-old. He is a disabled vet and has many other issues causing him pain but with the help of your protocol he has been able to distinguish the pain of injuries vs. the pain of his Fibromyalgia.
Thank you, Dr. St. Amand, for giving us our lives back so that we may all enjoy our days to the fullest!!! You have given to so many of us the ability to live our lives like those that do not suffer from this disabling disease.
With much love and gratitude,
Michelle and John Spencer
